Liberty University was founded as the Lynchburg Baptist College by Jerry Falwell in the year 1971. It is the largest non-profit, online university in the United States today with over 60,000 students enrolled in its various online programs. Since Liberty University is a non-profit institution, tuition rates are one of the cheapest among all online universities in the United States. For military, it’s a flat rate of $250 for part time and full time, and for seminary they are $285 per hour and $2, 200 block rate.
